Firm wound dressing retention
Tubular bandage of 1 mtr length to provide effective support for sprains strains and to assist weak joints.
FEATURES & BENEFITS.
- Used in treatment and management of soft tissue strains, sprains, injury and general edema.
- Easy to apply, reusable & non bulky.
- Other applications can include : postnatal support, pressure therapy on post burn scarring & for firm retention of wound dressings.
- Apply derma-hose in double layers for maximum support, although beware of excessive compression.
- If unsure consult a medical practitioner for advice.
- Provides consistent pressure/support over body contours with unrestricted movement.
SIZE TABLE
- How to read the size table.
- Product is available is 5 sizes, from XSM to XLG. The unstretched width of each size is show alongside the size label. e.g. SML is 7.75cm.
- Maximum stretch is usually no more than 60-70%.
- Decide where you want to apply the bandage. e.g. ankle, wrist, knee ... etc.
- Measure circumference around the widest part of the area you wish to apply the bandage onto.
- Select the size as shown in the table.
- If 2 sizes are show in one space select one or the other dpending on how firm you wish the bandage to be. Smaller = more firm, larger = less firm.
- Please keep in mind this is not to be worn in place of a compression support brace. The compression of this product is normally just enough to alow the bandage to stay on the limb without moving.
